COVID Update • September 13, 2021
Dear Galway Families,
Since March 13, 2019, when we moved to remote learning for the first time, we have had many good and bad days. Today, the number of positive COVID cases, the number of referrals for COVID testing, and the number of quarantines reported in our school were the largest numbers reported during the COVID pandemic. In addition, the positive cases and quarantines are occurring in areas critical and lawful to the operation of our school district.
For these reasons, our school will move to remote learning tomorrow, September 14 through September 17, 2021. This date may change depending upon any new information provided by the Saratoga County Department of Health. Details from your principals and teachers will follow this email.
There will be no transportation available for our out-of-district students as well.
This news is particularly difficult to share as we never want to move to remote learning. Our goal remains in-person learning for all students everyday.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Brita Donovan
